People making a difference

• 1000 Women for the Nobel Peace Prize 2005 is highlighting the efforts of women working in countries all over the globe. • A program for US farmers to provide assistance to Salvadoran farmers with techniques and methods for effective agriculture.

• A Massachusetts eye doctor who leads a delegation of medical specialists each year to provide examinations and treatment for eye conditions to poor people living in rural El Salvador.
